The Glocknerwinkel was realised and officially opened in 2016/17 with a great deal of commitment, excellent planning and in a very short construction period.
A highlight at the Grossglockner panorama building is the permanent national park exhibition about the Big Five of the Alps. Right next door you will find a national park information centre, which is occasionally staffed by rangers. A service building with disabled toilet- and washing facilities completes the offer.
